Reach out and ask us to lead a custom mini course for your small group, leaders, parents, or volunteers. One course we led for a small group over Zoom in the past was called "Domestic Church Designs".
Other courses we prepared are a course on praying with Scripture in the home and a creative course for scrapbook lovers that teaches parents and grandparents how to record their experience of the sacramental life of the church for their children and grandchildren.
During the COVID 19 pandemic, Heart of the Church Institute facilitated a virtual retreat for families on the Psalms called "From the Hearts of Families."
Journey into the Psalms this Lent.
During this time of the pandemic, how are you feeling? Excerpts from the Psalms teach us that it is ok to lament and tell God how we feel. It’s also important to place the focus in our prayer back on what God is doing.
How can we praise God in the storm? The Psalms will show us.
This retreat takes your family through a simple format each day of Lent that includes a short Psalm, a talk, and a discussion question. It will help you, along with your whole family, reflect on attributes of God. God cares for you and is close to you.
Through this retreat, let us dive into the Psalms, share our faith, and unite by praying some ancient and beautiful words that are foundational to knowing a language of intimacy with Jesus.
The Lenten season is a time of renewal. Join us to grow in your faith as we all look towards a brighter future.
